The Verdant Expanse

Description¶

Expanding upon the Ivory Plains, this fertile region is dotted with rolling hills, wildflower meadows, and cascading rivers. It is considered the breadbasket of the Empire, with sprawling farmland and prosperous villages. Its peaceful nature and strategic proximity to trade routes make it a stable and vital part of the Empire. A symbol of Eldara’s prosperity, with druids working alongside farmers to maintain balance between nature and productivity. The Sylvan Grove and Riverheart are sacred sites, protected by both the Empire and local druidic orders.

Inhabitants¶

Tharuns: Deeply connected to nature, they form the backbone of this verdant region, blending agriculture with druidic practices.
Auriel estate owners and imperial administrators oversee the larger holdings — Greystone’s grain feeds Valtharion, and the Empire keeps a firm hand on its breadbasket.
Sylvael druids serve as agricultural advisors across the lowlands, their knowledge of soil and season making them indispensable despite old tensions with the Empire.
A small Tirael merchant presence operates out of River-Cross, running trade barges down to the coast and back.

West of Velmere, forming a fertile belt. Bordered by Havenwood to the southwest and transitioning naturally into the southern wilderness.
