Description¶

Dense and magical, the Veltran Forests are both a sanctuary and a source of peril. Towering trees form a canopy so thick that sunlight barely penetrates, casting the forest floor in perpetual twilight. It is a haven for those who seek refuge from the Empire but also a place of great danger due to its mystical properties.

Inhabitants¶

Sylvaels: The majority population and guardians of the sacred groves, ensuring magical balance.
Over the centuries, Havenwood has become a refuge for the displaced — Crisaels fleeing imperial persecution, deserting soldiers with no appetite for the Empire’s wars, and escaped criminals who vanished into the canopy and never came out.
It is the only region in Tavrenne where different races live side by side without the weight of Imperial hierarchy dictating who stands above whom.

Sylvaris: The “Invisible City” of the Sylvaels, hidden in the canopy.

Mystical Features¶

The Heartwood Glade: Hidden grove with the Heartwood tree, whose sap has immense healing properties.
Whispering Vines: Enchanted plants that relay messages or lead travelers astray.
The Phantom Path: A trail appearing only under moonlight, leading to ruins or endless loops.

Location¶

South of Greystone, forming a lush transition to the southern wilderness.
