Thalyssar: The Frozen Wastes¶
Where silence reigns.
Description¶
Far to the north, beyond the ice-shelves of Caldrith, lies Thalyssar. It is an eternal ice sheet, a land of blinding white and deadly cold.
- Terrain: Glaciers, frozen oceans, and auroras that burn the sky.
- Status: Hostile. Only the strongest survive here.
- Inhabitants:
- Glacarans: Ice Giants who build fortresses of permafrost.
- Vaeryns: It is said that the Frozen Warriors came from Thalyssar, though no expedition has confirmed this.
Role in Lore¶
Thalyssar is the edge of the world, where the Veil is thin and the cold is unnatural. It is rumored that an ancient god sleeps beneath the ice.
